Common makes research-led and collections-based film and video. We develop work through new and existing research projects, often with practitioners in universities, research centres, museums and archives.

We are interested in the making and doing of social and cultural history; the senses, practices of making and performing, and the subjective experience of material history itself. Our work is multimodal and often coproduced.
